I received a call today and Camp Decorah is now closed until atleast when school starts up again. They are also encouraging all Troops to not meet during this time.

Please make note.
Badge-A-Thon is being postponed until further notice. All Troop meeting are being postponed until further notice.

Please work on your current meritbadges and rank advancements qith your families during this time.

Scout Master Troop 22.

Troop-

Starting on March 18th all schools will be closed until April 6th and maybe longer as per Gov. Evers. I am letting you know that we will still be having our meeting on Tuesday evenings during this time frame. We will be prepping for our 2020 Badge-A-Thon and having it during this timeframe.

I thank you all for your attenence. With school out and most sporting events cancelled I look forward to seeing you ALL at the meetimngs and at Badge-A-Thon.

SM Troop 22

The Gateway Council is trying to compile a list of all Eagle projects in our area from as far back as 2000. They sent (me and others?) a list of dates of all our Troop 22 Eagles and wondered if we could contact them (or parents) to gather information about each project and maybe a photo of the finished project. I may have old contact info on a lot of the parents, but wondered if others were included on this e-mail request, and if the committee discussed this at all.  We have 59 Eagles since 2000!

I found out a little bit ago that the church gas moved the clean up date to tomorrow 10/12/19 from 8am-12pm.

Please show up and help if you can.

I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday for Keith’s Eagle Ceremony 12:30 PM at Good Shepard.

Also next Tuesdays meeting will begin at 5PM so we can do our highway clean up.

Scouts-

We will be starting out school year of meetings next week Tuesday Sept 3rd at 6:45PM at the church. All scout please contact yout friends to see if they are interested in joining our Troop. We have atleast 4 new Scouts from Pack 147 that have joined us and I hope we have more. We also have two new Eagle Scouts Evan and Keith. Evan will have his court of honor during our October Troop court of honor and Keith will be having his on Saturday Sept 28th. Please plan on attending bothe of these event to help honor the two new Eagles.

We are looking for a new popcorn kernal this year so I need your help. There is a meeting tomorrow August 13th at 7pm at the St. John’s Church by Mayo Clinic. We need two adults to attend this meeting. I can not get there until around 8PM. Please let me knoq if you are able to attend. The extra percentage we make on the popcorn depends on two of us being there.

Troop 22 and 229 will meet at the Village Festival Foods at 6PM on Thursday April 7th.We will be grocery shopping for the Troop’s meals.   This is part of the Cooking Meritbadge.
Friday April 8th we will meet at the church and get the trailer ready before heading out to camp at 5:30PM.  Please wear your class A shirts during our travel time to and from camp.
We will leave camp between 10 and 11 AM on Sunday morning.
I know we will all be getting back from a weekend at camp but I would like to see everyone at Sam’s Eagle Court of Honor that will be at 2 PM only a couple of hours after we get back on Sunday.
